The information about the CJSC “Sewing firm “Vestra”

     The Closed Joint-Stock Company “Sewing firm “Vestra” was established in September, 1944.

     For these years became from the sewing workshops one of the largest enterprises of a city, where work more than 700 persons. The high professionalism of the specialists and workers, the necessary production base let the firm to turn out products, which is popular not only in Transnistrien, but also abroad. Since 1986 the CJSC “Sewing firm “Vestra” co-operates with the partners from USA, Austria, England, Germany and Italy, executing the orders on the fabrication of the garments for women: dresses, skirts, trousers, blouses, jackets, car coats.

     Monthly the firm turns out more than 60000 pcs of the production; the part from them is sold in the firm shop “Novinka” and commercial network of Transnistrien.

     In 2004 the collective is awarded by the high government decoration - Order of Honour for the high production performance and in honour of the 60-th anniversary. Annually taking part in the competition “Transnistrien quality”, the firm was awarded by the Diplomas and memorable Signs.

     In December, 2007 in Vienna, Austria on the basis of the partners’ recommendations on the international image program “Leaders of the XXI-st century” the firm “Vestra” has been awarded by the international Sign “European quality”.
